Shabab Oman II takes part in Kiel Week 2022 in Germany

Kiel: The Royal Navy of Oman’s vessel Shabab Oman II is currently taking part in Kiel Week 2022 in Kiel in Germany.
The ship docked at the Port of Kiel in Germany on Friday after traveling more than 7,500 nautical miles since she set sails from the Said Bin Sultan Naval Base on April 11. The ship is on its sixth international voyage dubbed ‘Oman, Land of Peace’, which concludes on October 23.
The Kiel Week 2022 witnesses participation of sailboats from around the world.
Shabab Oman II will take part in many sports competitions and maritime events that will be held as part of Kiel Week 2022. The ship opened its doors for visitors to view her facilities and sections.
On board the ship is a photo exhibition showcasing the march of development which took place in the Sultanate of Oman as well as the features of modernization that occurred across the country under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
