Muscat: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Health, will join the world on Wednesday to mark the World Blood Donor Day (WBDD), which falls on June 14 every year. This year’s slogan “Give blood. Give now. Give often” focuses on the need to donate blood regularly, so that the stock is sufficient in time for an emergency. The ceremony will be presided over by Dr Abdulmunim bin Mansour al Hasani, Minister of Information at the Cultural Club.
