MUSCAT: The Technical Executive Committee at the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) adopted the draft National Geospatial Database (NSDI) at its second meeting this year, which was at the Centre’s headquarters in Muscat on Tuesday. The committee also reviewed the Data Model Dictionary and the reports on the functioning of the baseline data team and data ownership. Following the review, the committee sat through a presentation on the Oil and Gas Data Repository (OGDR) project. — ONA
