MUSCAT: Dr Fuad bin Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, on Thursday met with a Moroccan delegation, headed by La’arabi al Mahrshi, within the framework of the Moroccan delegation’s official visit to the Sultanate.
Dr Sajwani hoped that the visit would contribute in enhancing the existing relations between the two countries and supporting the joint cooperation, as well as opening wider horizons for the bilateral cooperation on various fields.
The meeting discussed matters of common concern between the Sultanate and Morocco in the agricultural, livestock and fisheries fields and means of enhancing them.
On their turn, the delegation’s members expressed their delight to view the Sultanate’s remarkable progress in the vital sectors.
The Moroccan delegation visited Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher where the officials in the mosque briefed the delegation on construction and designs of the mosque. The delegation viewed the centres of the mosque and its roles, such as the Institute of Islamic Sciences, the library, lectures hall and other facilities. — ONA
