MUSCAT: The State Council delegation will participate in the second legislative term of the Arab Parliament on April 24 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo. The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Dr Mishaal bin Fahm al Salami will chair the session. The Council will participate in the meetings of the Office of Parliament, meeting of the Committee of Foreign affairs, Politics and Arab National Security Committee and the Committee of Social affairs, Education, Culture, and Woman and Youth Affairs at the Arab Parliament.
State Council will be represented by the members, Musallam bin Ali al Maashani,Vice-President of the Arab Parliament and member of the Foreign Affairs, Politics and Arab National Security Committee and Khamis bin Said al Sulaimi, member of Social Affairs, Education, Culture, and Woman and Youth Committee. The Bureau of the Arab Parliament, during its ninth meeting of the second legislative session on April 20, will review proposals and work topics aimed at improving Arab parliamentary action and promoting joint Arab action. It will hold its tenth meeting on Saturday (April 22) to prepare for its fifth session of the first session.
The session of the Arab Parliament will organise a seminar titled, Arab Economic Integration and it will deal with the “Legislative Mechanisms and Methodological Approaches to Implementation” on 23 April at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League.
