SALALAH: Sultan Qaboos Hospital organised Scientific Day recently at Crowne Plaza Salalah Resort with the participation of about 150 midwife nurses from across the governorate. The event addressed a number of scientific issues and Health Vision 2020 with special reference to the status of maternal and child health services. The event also focused on raising the efficiency of maternity and child care cases and emergency cases of gynaecology and child birth. The participants shared their experiences and skills while discussing important studies in the fields of maternity and child care. They also put stress on maintaining collective action on patients’ safety.
