Shura economic panel meets

MUSCAT: Majlis Ash’shura’s Economic and Financial Committee on Monday held a meeting under the chairmanship of Dr Saleh bin Said Musan, Head of the Committee. During the meeting, the committee reviewed the two draft agreements for the standard GCC added value tax and excise tax, which have been referred by the Council of Ministers. The Committee also discussed its executive programme for February and March 2017. It also reviewed the report on the outcomes of discussing the statement of the Minister of Tourism while hosting him at the 10th and 11th sessions. — ONA
