SZCZECIN: The Royal Navy of Oman Vessel (RNOV) Shabab Oman II is taking part in the closing ceremony of the 2017 Tall Ships Races event in the Polish city, Szczecin from August 5 to 8.
The voyage of Shabab Oman II comes within the framework of its third international journey (Sail of Friendship and Peace) and in continuation of its noble national mission in extending bonds of love, friendship and brotherhood between the Sultanate and various countries of the world. Nearly 90 sailboats representing 19 countries take part in the race.
There are many different events, such as parade of the crews of the participating ships and the maritime display of traditional legacies by the participating vessels. — ONA
