SALALAH: Salalah College of Technology (SCT) organised ‘Sports Open Day’ in an effort to inculcate the values of sportsmanship
and teamwork among students and staff.
The Students Affairs Department headed by Dr Amal al Shahri, organised three sporting events — 200-metre run, football match and underarm cricket tournament.
The football match was held between the champions of 2015 and 2016, while in the underarm cricket tournament several college staff members took part.
“The aim is to create a fun-filled and friendly atmosphere in the college and provide the staff members a platform to relax and engage positively, away from the monotonous work schedule,” said Dr Amal.
