MUSCAT: Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), received in Muaskar Al Murtafa on Monday Chairman of the International Military Sports Council (CISM) and the Deputy Chairman of Asia Continent, as well as representatives of the chiefs of staff of the participant countries in the 2nd Military World Football Cup 2017. The event was kicked off yesterday in Muscat and lasts till January 28. Lt Gen Al Nabhani welcomed the guests, wishing them, all delegation’s members and the participant military teams a pleasant stay in the Sultanate and success in promoting sport aspects among the CISM state members. The meeting was attended by Air Commodore Maktoum bin Salim al Mazrouei, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Training and Joint Exercises, Head of the Organising Committee of the 2nd Military World Football Cup. — ONA
