LONDON: Rentokil Initial Plc, the British pest control and business services company reported on Thursday a 13.7 per cent rise in underlying third-quarter revenue to £579.5 million ($764 million), boosted by acquisitions.
Revenue at the pest control division rose by 5.6 per cent on a like-for-like basis and 17.8 per cent including acquisitions.
The company bought six businesses during the quarter and added that its pipeline for deals in the current quarter and in 2018 remained “strong”.
It also maintained its full-year forecast despite saying some of its operations had been affected by severe weather conditions. — Reuters
