MUSCAT: Rahul Asher, umpire with Oman Cricket, has been invited again by ICC to officiate in the ICC Under-19 World Cup qualifiers which is scheduled to take place in Singapore from July 16 to July 25.
The four teams which will be participating in the tournament are Afghanistan, Nepal, Malaysia and hosts Singapore. One winning team will get a berth to play in ICC Under-19 World Cup to be held in New Zealand next March 2018.
Rahul has officiated in ACC Under-16 tournament and the recently concluded ICC WCL 1 Asia Qualifier held in Thailand. Rahul has been involved with Oman Cricket as the Umpiring Committee for the last couple of seasons as well.
