The workshop, hosted by SQU, is organised by Unesco and the Omani National Bioethics Committee in coordination with the National Commission for Unesco in Oman. In addition to Omani experts specialised in bioethics, the workshop features three international experts Dr Aissatou Toure, a researcher at the Pasteur Institute in Dakar, France; Dr Mohamed Salah ben Ammar, former minister of health in Tunisia; and Dr Mariam Dashti, Assistant Professor in Molecular Medicine at Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain. The workshop will continue until April 4.
