Ooredoo administrator wins Al Mar’a award

Ooredoo’s Senior IT Quality Assurance Administrator, Omaima al Rutaibi, was honoured at the Al Mar’a Excellence Awards 2016 with a Special Commendation Certificate for her achievements as a Woman of Technology during a ceremony held recently at Muscat Hills.


The prestigious accolade celebrates Omaima’s impressive leadership skills and her remarkable professional expertise.


It also recognises her dedication and commitment to the advancement of information technology and inspiring efforts to create opportunities for future generations of women in the field.


A graduate of Sultan Qaboos University, Omaima joined the Ooredoo family in 2010, where her responsibilities included overseeing the many and complex aspects of software performance testing for a variety of user focused applications, including customer service and sales. She also organises and leads testing sessions to ensure Ooredoo software is able to meet the requirements of clients and customers.
