MUSCAT: The Sultanate, represented by the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA), took part in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Cyber Summit and Exhibition held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from April 4 to 6 with the participation of more than 600 participants from more than 80 countries. The Sultanate’s delegation was headed by Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Zaabi, CEO of PACA with the participation of PACA officials and the concerned authorities in this regard. The importance of this Summit represented in discussing risks and threats of electronic security that may affect civil aviation systems both now and in the future in order to establish the foundations of collective action to develop general rules to address such emerging threats. — ONA
