Oman at Beirut conference for Arab Judicial Inspection

MUSCAT: The Sultanate represented by the Administrative Affairs Council for Judiciary will take part in the 21st Conference for the Heads of the Arab Judicial Inspection Bodies, held in Beirut on July 10 to 12.


The conference discusses a number of themes including the proposed mechanism for the judicial inspection control on the alternate methods for judiciary before the litigation state. It will also discuss inspection in the Arab countries with regard to the relationship with the supreme court.


The Sultanate’s delegation will present two working papers on ‘the reality and horizon of computerizing the judicial inspection work in the Sultanate’ and ‘ enhancing confidence between judges and judicial inspection, future and reality.


The Sultanate delegation led by Dr Mohammed bin Abdullah al Hashmi, Judge of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the Public Administration for Judicial Inspection includes Dr Hilal bin Mohammed al Rashdi, member of the judicial inspection and Said bin Mohammed al Sharji, Director of the Primary Court in Bidbid. — ONA
