Oman, Algeria review ties

MUSCAT: Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, received in his office on Thursday Abdul Qader Musahel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, currently visiting the Sultanate. The two sides reviewed relations of cooperation between the two countries and means of promoting them in all fields. They also exchanged viewpoints on the latest developments of situations at the regional and international arenas, as well as issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended from the Oman side by Dr Mohammed bin Awadh al Hassan, acting Under Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, and senior officials at the ministry whilst it was attended from the Algerian side by Mahanad Saleh, Algerian Ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the guest. The Algerian guest and his delegation later visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Royal Opera House Muscat. — ONA
