Muscat University provides opportunities in intl education

Muscat University, Oman’s newest university which is partnering with the highly-ranked Cranfield University and Aston University in the UK, has conducted an Open Evening session on April 26, 2017 for the benefit of prospective students. It was a very lively interactive session and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Cahalan, along with administrative and faculty members addressed the questions and concerns in the minds of the audience.  Muscat University will offer Bachelor and Master’s programmes starting in September 2017.

Professor Anthony Cahalan commented, “The event has generated a lot of interest among the Omani and international students. It was heartening to see so many eager young people wanting to be involved in this exciting new university. We spoke to students about the industry-engaged programmes we offer and their relevance to the social and economic priorities of Oman and of the region. A number of students have already registered an interest for our pathway programmes and we look forward to furthering interest over the coming months.”
