MUSCAT: The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources continues to implement a number of service and development projects in various wilayats of the Sultanate within the framework of complementing the infrastructure projects. Among the most prominent projects being implemented by the ministry is the lighting of internal roads as the ministry has installed 462 lampposts in different governorates of the Sultanate. These projects are aimed at activating the social and economic aspects as well as boost tourism and contribute to linking villages and residential neighbourhoods together and facilitating transport and vehicular movement. Other benefits include adding more features of a civilization and make maximum use of vital projects and public services in each wilayat. — ONA
