Meet on underwater life begins in Salalah

SALALAH: A two-day conference on underwater life began on Tuesday in Salalah. It is organised by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs and the United Nations Environment Programme. The conference will discuss several themes, including the role of the private sector, social responsibility in preserving the marine environment as well as the review of the environment diversity, and underwater tourism. It will also discuss ways to cash in on marine resources while maintaining sustainable development.
