BEIJING: Oman media delegation recently visited China within the framework of exchanging visits among media men in the two friendly countries.
The visit aimed at familiarising with the development and experience of various Chinese media means as per an invitation from the Chinese government to visit several media institutions and the tourist attractions in China.
The delegation, which comprised several officials and journalists, was led by Saud bin Sulaiman al Ghamari, Assistant Director General for Publications and Technical Classifications in the Ministry of Information.
The delegation viewed media institutions’ work, bulletins and services provided through websites and other media means, as well as viewing the modern media technologies.
The Omani delegation also visited tourist attractions and civilisational landmarks, such as the Great Wall of China, Emperor Palace and Qingdao Laoshan Mountain, besides visiting a factory for modern electronics in Qingdao city. — ONA
