Gas explosion at commercial complex in Biddiyah

One person was injured and hefty property loses have been incurred after a major gas explosion gutted a commercial complex in Biddiyah, according to the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA). The incident was reported at 3.56am on Tuesday.


PACDA later said the injured person was of an Asian nationality and he suffered moderate injuries. A bus parked near the site and the goods worth thousands of riyals were damaged in the incident.


PACDA urgedowners of shops and commercial establishments to take precaution and ensure that the safety requirements in place.
