SALALAH: Master Hridith Sudev of class XII and Miss Faisa Tabriz of class VII of Indian School Salalah secured two of the three top positions in the Inter-school Essay Competition organised by the Embassy of India and Ambedkar International Mission to commemorate the 126th birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar — the man who framed the Indian Constitution.
‘Educate, organise and agitate’ — the principles propagated by Dr Ambedkar echoed on his 126th birth anniversary celebrations as the Embassy organised an essay writing competition involving all the Indian schools in Oman.
The ISS sent several entries from middle school to senior secondary school as part of the competition. The first prize was bagged by Hridith Sudev, class XII and the third prize was secured by Faisa Tabriz of Class VII.
The two proud winners received the trophy, cash prize and certificate from Indra Mani Pandey, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate.
