By Sports Reporter — MUSCAT: MARCH 29 - Omani sports management expert Hisham bin Salim al Adwani signed a one-year cooperation agreement with Al Muheet Training Institute on Wednesday for supervision of sports training programmes.
Al Muheet Training Institute is a training institution engaged in training and qualification of human resources working in various organisations inside the Sultanate and overseas.
The signing ceremony was held at the Intercontinental Hotel.
“Our mission is to contribute to uplifting specialist professional standard of sports stakeholders and assist in addressing the global developments with high efficiency. For this we will take advantage of the relations with international human resources institutions working in sports field. Our ultimate goal is to further promoting sport in Oman,” Hisham said.
Hisham is recognised by the International Olympic Committee as National Director of Sports Management Course.
Hisham al Adwani is a qualified lecturer having track record of academic qualifications and vast experience in the sports management.
“ I am passionate about serving the sports sector in Oman by providing the best training services whether by myself or by procuring the best experts from local and international sports organisations,” he said.
Hisham al Adwani will oversee the training progrmmes in sports and contribute towards arranging sports training services to the organisations in the Sultanate.
Organisational administrative performance in many organisations concerned with sports affairs are facing tremendous challenges which are reflected on the performance of such organisations both technically and professionally which in turns has direct bearing on the quality of local sports activity and the achievement of the desirable results internationally.
Through the deal, Al Muheet is exploring the potentiality of reaching GCC market through the relations existing with GCC training and sports institutions.
Hisham will prepare working papers and educational material for training programmes.
He will also coordinate and communicate with local and international specialised lecturers.
