MUSCAT: Ridha bin Juma al Saleh, Deputy Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), for Administrative and financial Affairs received a French business delegation on Monday.
The two sides discussed means of promoting cooperation between the Omani and the French private sectors.
Al Saleh stressed the importance of cooperation between the two sides in the trade and economy areas, hailing the strong Omani-French relations at various levels.
He also pointed out that the meetings among the businessmen from the two countries contribute to enhancing trade relations binding the two friendly countries, besides opening wider avenues through business partnerships.
The French side pointed out that the French businessmen are willing to find business relations with their Omani counterparts, particularly in the field of food. It affirmed that the French companies operating in this field enjoy high experience and skill and have the desire to join the Omani market.
