The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will organize the first exhibition of Home Business at the Grand Center in Barka on the of August 24, with participation of 25 owners of home businesses. The exhibition will last for two days.
Hamad bin Salim al-Shukaily, Director of Trade and Industry Department in the Governorate said: "The exhibition aims to help home business owners to present their products and introduce them to government entities, and companies." He added that this initiative will highlight this category to become small and medium enterprises in the future, which in turn will boost the national economy. He added that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is exerting great efforts to promote home businesses, which can be practiced by citizens in their homes to boost their income.
