By Badriya Al Balushi — AL SAWADI: Feb 12 - An entertainment day was organised by Omani Student Societies of Australia and New Zealand as part of its fourth annual forum for 2017 at Al Sawadi Chalet recently. The current Omani students as well as those who have graduated from Australian and New Zealand universities, along with their families, gathered at the chalet to enjoy fun activities. A total of 90 people, including Omani scholars, participated in the event. Games such as handball, football, badminton, swimming and billiards were some of the activities held as part of the day.
Group competitions such as teambuilding, which focused on developing effective communication, were also held. They were followed by juggling and visual tricks. Children took part in several activities, including drawing and painting. The forum will conclude its activities for the year on February 12 under the patronage of Under-secretary of Ministry of Higher Education. It will be attended by Australian university representatives and officials from the Ministry of Higher Education.
