Crime: ROP nails women's handbag snatcher

The ROP Criminal Investigation team arrested a person accused of committing 14 cases of theft in various provinces, including Muscat and South Batinah. The robbery committed by the accused included theft of women's handbags and a sum of RO 300.  In another case, the team arrested two citizens who had loaded fuel from a station in Izki and then fled to an unknown destination. They were arrested after the driver of the vehicle committed the same offense at a restaurant in the Sanaa office. The defendants admitted the crimes attributed to them, and were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the proceedings.
