Around 200 contestants from 23 countries are taking part in the 2017 edition of Capoeira Championship which began at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher on Thursday. Capoeira is a blend of martial arts, dance, self-defence, acrobatics, music. The game is popular with women, men and children as an exciting and fulfilling way to stay fit.
