MUSCAT: The draw for the quarter-finals of His Majesty the Sultan Football Cup was held at the headquarters of the Oman Football Association (OFA) on Sunday. The draw was balanced in the weighing of teams for the quarterfinals. A’ Suwaiq will take on A’Salam, Ja’alan will host Saham, Al Khabourah will face Dhofar, and Oman club will take on Bausher. The quarterfinals are two-legged matches. Bausher and A’Salam made unexpected results in their matches in the knockout round. Bausher defeated Muscat team by one goal to nil whereas A’Salam defeated A’Shabab, which is leading the Omantel Professional League (OPL), by four goals to one. — ONA
