MUSCAT: Abdulaziz bin Mohammed al Rowas, Adviser to His Majesty the Sultan for Cultural Affairs, received in his office on Monday a delegation from the Association of European Journalists (AEJ), currently visiting the Sultanate at the invitation from Omani Journalists Association. The AEJ delegation reviewed its role at the international level and cooperation fields among the press associations in the Arab world. The delegation hailed the Sultanate’s role under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos in cementing dialogue, understanding and intermediation within the framework of joint interests. Meanwhile, the AEJ delegation also visited the Oman News Agency (ONA) on Monday. During the visit, the delegation met with Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak al Oraimi, ONA Director-General, Editor-in-Chief, who gave a briefing on the ONA role in serving the Omani media. — ONA
